Commercial Vehicle Consultants Vehicle Maintenance Consultants, founded in 1987 and later named Commercial Vehicle Consultants Inc., has grown over the years to become the ONLY full service consulting company that specializes in all areas related to the operations and maintenance of commercial vehicles. The company now serves commercial truck fleets nationwide, works extensively with private industry and municipal fleets in the northeast and regularly consults in Europe, Asia and West Africa on fleet maintenance concerns. Its founder, Dennis Meehan, has 28 years in commercial vehicle maintenance experience. As a professionally trained mechanic he advanced to manage a 3500 vehicle fleet, operating over 48 states and Canada.
Now Commercial Vehicle Consultants inc. announces that it has merged with AC Technical Inc., a 12 year old organization established to provide professional services to the automotive, heavy duty and commercial vehicle industries. AC has successfully provided services such as training and consulting for all phases of fleet operations and maintenance to a broad and diverse group of clients including universities, municipalities, state and city governments and private concerns such as school bus, airport support vehicle and trucking fleets. The scope of vehicles and equipment for which these services have been provided include cars, small, medium and large trucks and tractor trailers, buses, all types of heavy duty, commercial, off road equipment and all types of add-on equipment, systems and attachments.
The principals of AC Technical, Donald Aull and Robert Crandall possess more then 30 years of experience in the operation of a large north eastern municipal fleet of 6500 vehicles and 70 locations with specific experience in fleet maintenance operations, governmental procurement, specification development, R&D, failure analysis and an extensive background in technical training.
The merger allows Commercial Vehicle Consultants to expand its offering of professional services while maintaining the high standard for service delivery it has become known for. CVC already a leader in consulting to municipal fleets is now better able to meet all your consulting needs.
